Let’s hope not! When we found out in July that our family
was relocating to Italy ,
the news was accompanied by a 17-point checklist that needed to be
completed…three months previously. After a whirlwind of doctor’s appointments,
dental visits, passport photos (10 per person?!) and other appointments, we
were able to turn in all of our paperwork.
Three months later, we are sitting in a mostly empty house.
Our initial shipment of household items is somewhere in the Atlantic ,
as is our van. And this week is the last big push.
We’ve got 2 more pack and load shipments, a pile of boxes to
mail to ourselves in Italy
and the greatest adventure of all — can we really pack everything we need for
6-8 weeks (including school books) into 2 suitcases each?
Let the fun begin…
